However, unlike “The Walking Dead” which shoots itself in the foot every time they deviate from the source material, “Sweet Home” manages to take deviations while leaving most of the story intact. So if you’re looking for an adaptation that isn’t just the source material in name only, then consider giving this show a view. The first season of “Sweet Home” does a great job of adapting the majority of the webtoon. It brings all the action, horror, and drama that the webtoon contained to the realm of live-action adaptations. As a bonus, it also leaves a few plot threads open for a potential second season.
Over the course of the series, many characters either die to monster attacks or succumb to monsterization, becoming the threats they so dreaded. On Joong-seop's orders, Hyun-soo and Yi-hyun search the upper levels of Green Home for other monsters. By letting his inner monster communicate with Hyun-soo's, Yi-hyun discovers the harmless giant fetus monster in the Room 1408 bathroom and, controlled by his inner monster, intends to kill it.
Episode 9
The situation takes a turn for the worse when Hyun realizes that he himself is slowly turning into a monster, while a mysterious voice in his head grows louder and louder. With his time running out, Hyun must work together with his fellow tenants to uncover the cause of the outbreak and find a way to survive in this hopeless new world, all the while fighting to retain his humanity. From here on out it seems fans will be entering uncharted territory and an opportunity to see the world expanded way more than the rushed ending of the comic did. These are all good questions and hopefully, we’ll get some of them answered if the show gets renewed.
Early symptoms of monsterization include a sudden bloody nose accompanied by a fainting spell and auditory hallucinations. The hallucination is actually the entity responsible for turning people into monsters by manipulating them to reveal and give in to their greatest desire. Each Fast Pass episode cost five coins to read and could not be downloaded to read offline, unlike the publicly released episodes. Among thriller-horror stories that deal with gruesome characters such as zombies and monsters, Sweet Home is notable for treating a relatively similar set of characters in a different light.

The rooftops are surprisingly orange as the sun rises and the interior of the apartment complex has bluish hues and hellish reds. It really makes you feel like you’re watching a motion comic. It also just makes the show interesting to look at even when the characters remain indoors most of the time. Some of you may be aware of “Imagine Dragons” presence in the show.
